Chief Operating Officer (Ref: CZSLCOO0425)
Arcon Group of Companies, headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee its ongoing operations in Czech & Slovakia. As a key member of the executive team, the COO will report directly to the CEO and will oversee the development and implementation of the company’s operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy, aligning with our goals, vision and mission.
- Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and excellence across all departments
- Develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.
- Manage and optimise the company’s financial performance including budgeting, reporting, and cost management.
- Monitor performance across various departments and provide guidance and support to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a mid-to-senior management role, preferably in manufacturing, with a track record of leading cross functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans successfully.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of business metrics.
- Fluent in English and Czech. Knowledge of other languages such as Greek or Russian will be a strong plus.
